Dallas car sales jump over last week, new record
DALLAS — The Dallas car market has now posted its highest daily sales number since March, according to the Texas Department of Insurance and Public Safety.
The Dallas market posted its most daily sales in two months in January, with the average price up 14 percent over last year, according the Insurance Department.

The highest daily rate was in March at $6,564.
Dallas also recorded its first weekly increase in five months in December.
The market recorded $3,903 in January and a $1,066 average.

The median household income in the city rose 3.5 percent to $56,931 in 2017.
As of January, the average cost of a home was $2.79 million, up from $2 million in January 2017.
